Make your way to White River State Park and there will be two (2) Main Entrance Areas to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival 2019:

• The NORTH entrance area is located at Military Park (735 West New York Street Indianapolis, IN 46202)
• The SOUTH entrance area is located at the Concert Lawn of White River State Park (801 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204)

Once Arrived:

• To begin your event experience, simply enter White River State Park on the date and time of your purchased ticket from your designated entrance.
• Ticket holders may only attend one day of the event. Players who do not have a valid ticket will be unable to see or interact with event content within the park.

• The closest parking garage is located underneath the Indiana State Museum at 650 W Washington Street

• The Canal Walk, Washington Street Bridge, and Canal Promenade (behind the Indianapolis Zoo) accessibly connect all points in the park for those who can travel longer distances.

• Players can apply to attend the event within the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite app. Once the event registration begins, players can navigate to the Events screen from the Suitcase menu to apply to attend.
• If the number of successful applicants for tickets exceeds the overall amount of capacity, there will be a random drawing to ensure there is a fair opportunity for all. If selected to attend the event, selected players can purchase up to eight tickets.
• Players that are selected to attend can purchase tickets for players who they are friends with at the time of ticket purchase.
• To ensure a great experience the event ticket holders may only purchase tickets for one day of the two-day event.
• Players will be given the option of purchasing general admission tickets for each day through both the North & South entrances.
• Each player must submit a valid e-mail address to receive their order confirmation and event-related updates. Any valid email address may be used (email address does not have to be linked to the individual’s Harry Potter: Wizards Unite account).
• Accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club credit/debit cards.
• All event ticket sales are final. Refunds and transfers are not permitted.

To begin your event experience, simply enter White River State Park on the date and time of your purchased ticket from your designated entrance. The event gameplay experience will automatically activate when accessing the app from the correct location at the correct date. Ticket holders may only attend one day of the event. Players who do not have a valid ticket will be unable to see or interact with the gameplay elements within the park.

Ticket holders who attempt to resell tickets, attend multiple days without a ticket, or purchase more than 8 tickets will be in violation of the Niantic Terms of Service, and run the risk of having their Harry Potter: Wizards Unite account permanently terminated and/or may have their access to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival rescinded without refund or compensation.

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also a ticket holder.

Can’t make it out to Indianapolis or are unable to purchase a ticket? Don’t worry! Players around the world will still be able to participate. Stay tuned for details on how you can contribute remotely.

The Information counters are located in both Military Park and the Concert Lawn and the help desk is located in the Celebration Plaza area. Plan Ahead and Prepare

Think about what you bring. Pack a refillable water bottle and take advantage of convenient water refilling stations. Choose reusable bags or totes for your supplies and souvenir items to help eliminate plastic bag waste. Avoid buying one-time use items and disposing of them while in the park.

Stick to the Path

While playing, make sure to stick to designated paths and avoid any areas that are closed off. When vegetation is trampled, there is a greater chance weeds will grow back in its place or nothing at all. If everyone taking part in the event strayed from the path, the park could suffer severe impacts, so help us take care of the park by sticking to dedicated paths and trails.

Pack it in, Pack it out

Our goal for this event is to leave the park better than we found it. As much as possible, things you bring into the park should leave with you, too. For other trash, we will have trash and recycling stations around the park for your use. Even leftover biodegradable materials, such as food scraps, should be disposed of in a trashcan. Though these items are biodegradable, they are not native to Indianapolis and can create an eyesore for others. A general rule of thumb is to ask yourself, “would this be here if I wasn’t?” If the answer is no, then the best practice is to pack it out with you and dispose of it properly.

Keep Wildlife Wild

Observe wildlife from a distance and never feed them human food. Animals can become dependent on leftover food or trash and become aggressive as a result. By sticking to paths and not approaching wildlife, you avoid stressing animals or damaging their habitat.

Leave It As You Find It

If each visitor picked a flower, collected a rock, or didn’t properly dispose of waste, then the natural habitat would be depleted. Leave the parks and city as you find them to protect the habitat of plants and animals, as well as the outdoor experience of millions of visitors. Even better, with the help of fellow witches & wizards, we can leave Indianapolis better than we found it.

Garbage/refuse collection and disposal is ultimately the responsibility of everyone. Any and all refuse generated must be properly disposed of in garbage receptacles located throughout the park. Please dispose of your trash in the correct recycling and regular receptacles.

All ticket holders are allowed to re-enter the festival throughout the day. Only ticket holders will be able to participate in the event experience and specialized elements.

Need help? Lost? Security guards and off-duty police officers are located throughout White River State Park that can provide assistance. If additional assistance is needed, go to the nearest event staff individual who will call security or a first-responder to your location. A help desk is located in Celebration Plaza and information counters are located in both Military Park and the Concert Lawn.

• Water – you may bring factory sealed bottles of water and refill them throughout the day at our free water filling stations

The following items are PROHIBITED:

• Cigarettes, E-Cigs or Vaping devices
• Aerosol containers (including sunscreen and personal beauty products)
• Any and all professional audio recording equipment
• Any and all professional video equipment
• Camera accessories, such as selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, GoPro mounts and attachments, or other commercial equipment
• Drones or any other remote flying device
• Totems, Flags, Banners
• Coolers of any kind (exceptions may be made for medical use)
• Framed backpacks
• Hammocks
• Glass Containers
• Weapons or explosives of any kind (including firearms, pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc.)
• Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
• Drugs or drug paraphernalia
• Alcohol of any kind
• Professional-grade radios or walkie-talkies
• Pets (except for service animals)
• Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts (including red wagons) or any personal motorized vehicles
• Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
• Preparation or cooking of food onsite
• Please do not affix anything to the trees or shrubs
• Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc.
• No chairs of any kind

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival is ADA compliant, including accessible entrances and restrooms. For more information, patrons are directed to visit the Help Desk or an Information counter during operational hours. The Help Desk is located in Celebration Plaza and information counters are located in both Military Park and the Concert Lawn. Services offered include, but are not limited to:

• Answers to questions specific to the ADA access program
• Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities
• Power outlet for recharging powered mobility devices

If you encounter a guest with a disability who has any access questions or needs assistance, please direct them to the Info/Guest Services tent or call for ADA Assistance/Crowd Services on the Crowd Services Radio Channel.

A friendly reminder to be considerate of all event attendees:

• Never ask the nature of a person’s disability.
• Never push a mobility device/wheelchair – but you can help clear crowds as appropriate.

The event grounds are ADA accessible, but please be aware that this is a venue with distances between attractions. The length of the experience is 2.1 miles. Also, it is an outdoor event situated in a park and across city streets. Therefore, most travel is over natural terrain and terrain designed for motor vehicles. If it should rain, there will be mud in some places. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival does not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push services of any kind or wheelchairs for rent or loan. Guests should make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed and plan to bring attendants, if needed.

Motorized vehicles, such as Segways and golf carts are not allowed.

Accessible ADA portable toilets are available at the end of each row of restrooms throughout the park.

Prepackaged food and bottled water are allowed in the event. Additionally, there will be food trucks and concessions if you’d prefer to purchase food.

Free water filling stations are located throughout the park. Additional beverages will also be for sale at designated concession stands.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival will have food vendors that provide special dietary options. Please visit the Help/Information counter for a full list of vendors and further information.

A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff who handle the trash, patrons are expected to dispose of medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent. Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

If additional support is required, please check-in at the medical tent.

Pets are not allowed within the festival grounds or attractions. Service animals are allowed throughout the venue.

The event will take place rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In the case of extreme weather, directions to the nearest shelters will be communicated via email and text to the attendees.
